In da tuff audio bizniss it's the survival of the quickest :D

But late comers can spill their blues onto the Wurlitzer V instead:

Looks like that is still avaiable at $39,99 8)

From Arturia website:
"iSEM requires at least an iPad 2 and OS 6.0"
Anybody tried iSEM on Ipad with iOs 5?

Been playing with this a bit this morning. Great synth. They have good presets to show off the capabilities. Noticed a lot of very recognizable sounds. This one is laid out very easy too. Nice job. Running on IOS 6, iPad 2.

Was hoping for something just like this from Arturia. Keep em coming.

OK, took the risk and tried it myself: it works on iOs 5.1.1. ;)

Which model iPad are you using?

Just get an iPad if you want to do music on a mobile touch device, or get used to saying that phrase a lot.

iPad 3, iOS 5.1. 1.
Unfortunatelly, it works, but very often crashes - especially when I tweak patches. Sometimes I got distorted sound, always the same, no matter which patch is choosen - only restart helps.
I wouldn't buy it again.

Not fair to judge a synth with an OS that's two generations old. Ipad 3 can easily handle iOS 6 or 7 which it runs great in. I'm sure you have your reasons for not updating though.

no, it is absolutely fair ! if they support iOS 5 it should work the same as under iOS 6 or 7. This is what one should expect from using it on supported hardware with supported OS.

best

No, it can't and doesn't run. iOS 7 on iPad 3 is buggy, laggy, drains battery, crashes and ios eates itself almost whole ram memory on iPad 3. Look at youtube, forums etc.

etc. etc.

I've been running ios7 on my ipad2 since a few days after it was released, and am not seeing crashes, lags, bad battery life, or whatever. But that's only from actual personal experience of course, not a youtube video...

And to keep it ontopic, iSEM is f**king amazing- I love this synth!

iPad 2 runs better with ios7 because it has no retina (retina = 4 times more pixels at once to handle by CPU).
