Thanks.EnochLight wrote:Some are hanging out on the Reasonistas FB page and the Rack Extensionists FB group. I'm sure some will also lurk around here as usual.cyberheater wrote:I'm Heater from the Propellerhead's forum and I notice it's down. Scared of hackers.
Are you guys meeting somewhere else. Are you prepared to just wait until it comes back?
So the Propellerhead's forum is down. Post in here if you normally post there.

Totally agree! I know the cat on the picture is dead, but it sends a signal to all the people who lacks empathy out there that this is a fun thing to do.Tronam wrote:There's something extremely not funny about those pictures.mellotronaut wrote:you wanted it so dearly:

Seen the Props' latest micro tutorial yet? Aside from the brief overview of Parsec, it's actually one of the more clearly explained introductions to additive synthesis I've seen:

yessa. you have the spirit.V0RT3X wrote:I think its amusing.
Its not like the guy killed the cat to make that. It was his pet and well..when the cat passed away he thought it would be a way to pay tribute to the cat by making him fly in the afterlife.

Good question. Some of their GUI designs already fit the Reason rack aesthetic quite well, especially the ultimate compressor modules. Considering the huge popularity of their FilterBank plugin for years now, I could see that being a natural candidate for porting. Did you sign up for the beta?EnochLight wrote:Anybody care to speculate at what McDSP are testing? They've got quite an extensive catalog of VST.

I "applied" but never heard back from them. It's just as well - I'm currently beta testing other RE's right now that are taking my time. One is from a well-known and respected dev and I can't wait until it hits the store - it's a must-have!Tronam wrote:Good question. Indeed. Knobs-only could be done, and it does sound fantastic.TheoM wrote:filterbank isn't possible due to GUI curves, unless they port it knobs only. Reason users would be in for a treat, cause the cut filters are 24db and decent.
