Are there any bother updates besides 64bit?

Post

Well hopefully there'll be bugfixes yo.

Post

What bugs are there?

Post

Well bugs, optimizations...

Largo doesn't share graphics resources between instances, so each instance eats 300 MB of RAM or so. Bad design.

CPU grinding when adjusting effects wet level knob, even if you don't play any notes. Bad design.

When operating the Cutoff knob via MIDI CC during playing Largo, it stutters similarly to the dry:wet knob above. The sound is smooth, but seems like the GUI refresh rate is very bad.

this may be a stupid question but is there any advantage in having the 64 bit version if the current version is working in your DAW?

I'm on 64bit Windows 7 with Cubase 7.5 64 bit - the 32 bit PPG 3V works in that - actually almost all of my 32 bit plugins work.

Cubase, just like Reaper, happens to have a good working bit bridge (sort of a 32- to 64-bit "translator"). But, afaik, some host either don't have a bit bridge at all, or it's not working very well. That's why it's always best to have plugins which run natively in your DAW i guess.

I hope (as a x32 user) Waldorf also not abandon x32 platform, and maybe refresh Waldorf Edition bundle also, because latest official WE release (in all 3 plugs) have some troubles with GUI response (terrible slowdown), and circular control type for some reason, therefore i forced use v129, in which everything is ok.

That is. Let's hope they have a similar attitude when it comes to their software!

Had this problem with my old laptop and nothing could fix this....besides the new laptop.

Well, I have fairly recent configurations with quad-core CPUs and 8/16 GB of RAM... No reason for them to behave that way, so I'm going to chalk it up to bit-bridging, most likely.

Where did you get the downloads for x64 version? When I go to the new website (in english) what I see is still hte announcement that the 64-bit version will be available "soon".
