Berlin School works ok.
But, I know people don't mean anything derogatory by Krautrock-- it has a kind of a creepy, nasty, and insensitive feeling for me.
I would feel like an absolute clod to use a term that may be hurtful to someone.

Deutsche Sequent or Deutsche Fusion is how I term those styles.

I assumed the term was a particularly British term coined by lazy journos, didn't think it would have any long lasting relevance overseas. I know growing up in Britain in the 70s, Kraut was definitely a derogatory term on the whole so have always felt uneasy about it.

I think it was pretty much intended as derogatory in the day. There's a great BBC documentary on YT about Krautrock. In it Edgar Froese talks about reading an article about the upcoming Coventry Cathedral show in a newspaper that said "40 years ago they came to bomb the place, today they come with synthesizers". That seemed to sum up the attitude the (establishment) Tommies had towards the Krauts even in the 70s. Two world wars, one world cup and all that.

Electronic music seemed to have a hard time in Britain until the 80s really. Synth Britannia (another great BBC docu on YT) pretty much covered that. I think they didn't really understand what was coming out of Germany so they just mocked it and for good or bad the name has stuck.
I still refer to it as Krautrock, or if I wanted to be more vague I might label it as prog rock (honestly I'm over labels and genres in general these days). But considering the context of the OP and wanting to give presets a label that would be immediately recognisable, I think Krautrock is the way to go.
