Dude, it's about the concept, not about a product, it's a joke.

I'm just saying that it's a better joke than the modeled pick because it has MORE believability than a modeled piece of plastic. It's the difference between Arthor C. Clark and Tolkien. Picks are some kind of plastic, 3d printers work with plastic, picks are defined by physical properties. I could describe this product at an average band meeting and the average person would believe it, describe the modeled pick and they know that it's a joke.

Only you seemed to think that anyone else meant anything different. Of course it's currently only a joke, it wouldn't be funny if it were possible. You missed the essence of my point which is that it is a creative joke that has a thread of believability, that if you were to try to think of how you might create one off picks, that it's natural to think about 3d printing, not virtual modeling.

Hmmm, he posts an reference to the joke, you dont get it, and thus take what he posted literally, then when he points it out you argue that his reference is to something which doesn't exist, even though it does. Thats kinda ironic.
