because its a channel strip that can be used for both track and master.

Got the license. It says "Does not expire". Seems too good to be true. I sure will be one happy camper if this is indeed free with no expiration. Don't need it but hey, a free Eventide plugin that re-uses code from other plugins that they sell, why on earth would I say no :)

because im smart and realize that things like this aren't given away for free except under extreme circumstances. its a 250 dollar plugin. (i know how company's think, how can we best help ourselves?) i will not use this plugin until im sure it will remain free. i don't need to be writing a track and after its all finished have my license pulled, and then have to redo all the effects. "no no, you got us all wrong!, it was only free until the cutoff date. sorry if you misunderstood us." we shall see. until then, and we get the company word. thanx will not be given.

It doesn't need an iLok dongle, but requires you have the iLok license manager installed in order to activate the plugin. I got Sound Toys Little Primal Tap and UVI's Mello for free on a similar promotion. They have no expiration date as well and are still active.

Pulling the license after 1 month of free use would be a horrendous marking mistake by Eventide. You think you're the only person who would be annoyed at that?

i dont think so. one plugin for free is not that special anymore. slate vmr is next with one free plugin coming. the strategy is if you have one and you are really satisfied you'll rather buy the other plugins coming. the dev have now a "feet in your door" . nowdays where you get top plugins for free everywhere it's hard to get any attention.

Pretty confident it wont expire. Having issues with accessing server, 1st day will settle down in a day or two no doubt.

Great product by the looks of the tutorial, see how it pans out on install.

Can't complain and thank you Eventide :)
