The one is way better than the other.

I don't see it here on the KVR Developer forum list.Gamma-UT wrote:Xfer has a support forum.BBFG# wrote:For developer attentiveness, Zebra, hands down.
(Maybe the other should consider getting their own sub-forum here?)
Is it under another name?

Xfer has a support forum on their own site. Why would they need one here?BBFG# wrote:I don't see it here on the KVR Developer forum list.Gamma-UT wrote:Xfer has a support forum.BBFG# wrote:For developer attentiveness, Zebra, hands down.

By numbers of threads (and their focus) they are maintaining here ATM.Gamma-UT wrote:Xfer has a support forum on their own site. And there are thread on other forums. So, what exactly is missing in terms of "attentiveness"? Or have you decided this place is the centre of the music-making universe?BBFG# wrote:By numbers of threads (and their focus) they are maintaining here ATM.

Don't confuse marketing sales blast with attentiveness.Gamma-UT wrote:And there are thread on other forums. So, what exactly is missing in terms of "attentiveness"? Once the created frenzy is over, more may be revealed.
Urs consistently acknowledges and addresses the base.
If you can't see what's missing, you're choosing not to.

I see plenty of support traffic on the Xfer forum – and a lot of feature updates to products like Nerve in direct response to requests made on them. Maybe you're missing something?BBFG# wrote:Don't confuse marketing sales blast with attentiveness.

I bought both (long time Zebra user). It took me quite a while to get a grip of Zebra as it is a mature product with a lot in it; certainly wins on flexibility, but then its a (type of) modular, so that's to be expected. Goes without saying it sounds great. I guess the only negative (super picky) is the GUI is a bit dated (even with the 10% scaling!) and I am too used to it!
SERUM made me break my 'no more synths in 2014' pact, I should never have downloaded the bloody demo. 20 minutes made me want more, its fun, intuitive, has its own sound and some really nice and original touches. Its not a rival to U-HE anything (maybe Razor, massive, padshop...) its a new thing; you need both
(PS-I have never used support for any VST and I have 100's, but I appreciate the free regular updates from U-he as I have Diva, Zebra and Bazzile- never had a Xfer product before, but he is active on his product thread here at KVR and on his own forum...)
