What happens if you drop this version into your VST64 dir, so it's available to all hosts, but you're using Studio One, which already has it? Anyone been there yet?

Did a quick test, unpacked the exe and placed the new Saturation Knob into VST2 64 dir.dwozzle wrote:What happens if you drop this version into your VST64 dir, so it's available to all hosts, but you're using Studio One, which already has it? Anyone been there yet?
In S1 both are listed then, the former free VST3 and topic VST2 versions, both working fine.
Deleted it then since the unit is a part of the Focusing EQ (payware)
and I prefer to use it because of output gain control.
I would also agree by saying this unit cannot be replaced.

I must have great timing. Just downloaded this, never knowing it wasn't free previously (though I had gotten it free for Reason a very long time ago.)

Wow, so they made it free, nice!
I got blunt ears, but i trust the pros, so if Dave likes it:

i'm gonna load it and mess around with it.
I think in discussions he mentioned to use it carfully and dial in only a very small portion.
Thanks Softube, nice present.
