Really?! I did not know that. I remember liking Darbuka. The 3 entities are so vastly different.

Transfuser is one that I really wish they would (1) tighten up the bugs, (2) make a scalable GUI, and (3) keep development alive on. There are a few products which I can piece together to mimic what it does, but unlike the rest of Air products which have 1:1 alternatives, Transfuser is unique.

It would be nice if Ujam took over the Air plugins, updated the GUIs, did some bug fixing, and eliminated the need for iLok.

It's almost certainly not going to happen but it would still be nice.

It doesn't seem like inMusic or whoever owns Air this week cares about the plugins beyond milking them for whatever they can get in perpetual low price sales.

Shame as they made some great plugins such as Transfuser, Hybrid 3, XPand!2, Loom2, Vacuum Pro etc.....

Yeah, if you compare Air Strike to the Ujam Virtual Drummer series you'll not actually see such a huge difference - it's more of a refinement and streamlining of the same basic concept.

The main coder is Paul Kellett (who is also the man behind the legendary free MDA suite of plugins) and the boss is Peter Gorges. Their first stuff was marketed by Steinberg btw. (the Grand, Virtual Gitarrist and what not - eit: they actually did the original Hypersonic too - so if you find that a bit similar to Air Structure, that's why).
