what does this thing do?

I have no idea what the zipfile does - it contains plain txt .CMD files, so you can download it and figure out what they do before you actually run them (I run windows 7 and Linux, so I'm not going to try it anyway)

I do however note that the computeraudiodesign website is keen to sell you a USB cable which costs 490 pounds sterling -- ouch -- although, for that outlandish price, your bits get transferred in a manner resulting in, apparently, "staggeringly real sonic reproduction level"

Why, it was too hard to actually click on links I left one comment down where it's explained or me posting optimization script in first place that have name "CAD Windows 8 Audio Optimization V2_6" hosted on actual site you can search for is so big mystery to search for....
