Why are Massive and Sylenth STILL Cornering the Preset Market?

As aMUSEd said, Massive is a very capable instrument. But if NI were to release an official 2.0, I can't help but think it would be too much like Serum, with a wavetable array that scans entire audio files. However, is it just me, or is that idea cooler than it sounds? I mean, it's awesome that you can do that, but using an entire audio file as a wavetable often sound like Godzilla chewing on a pterodactyl's @$$hole :lol:

You could also do that with Logic's Retro synth (the wavetable one.), drag and drop any audio file.
