You do realize that bug-fixing will always be an on-going process, right? FL may not be 100% stable, but neither is Live, S1, Cubase etc.Scottex wrote:really enjoying the new GUI, who cares about music and bugs?!
Primitive daw like Cubase,Logic, Studio One and Ableton are still better than this. But atleast you can go here and say how much you like the new GUI. How many release do you need before this daw will be stable?? 50?!? People here don't like producing and music, they like softwaring, install new version and wait for the next release

I wouldn't even reply to vacuous comments like from Scottex normally but that is so pathetic i must tell you: Use Studio One and FL and also used Cubase and other sequencers before but FL was always the most stable sequencer of them all.
With such a huge update it's clear that you can't expect 100% working right from the start. For that you have your v11 side by side. It's so clear that nobody need to speak about it usually.

Send me your settings for s1, i'll fix it for you. You did something wrong with the settings.murnau wrote:I wouldn't even reply to vacuous comments like from Scottex normally but that is so pathetic i must tell you: Use Studio One and FL and also used Cubase and other sequencers before but FL was always the most stable sequencer of them all.

However you seems a lucky guy with FL, just look at this release changelog. it's full of bugfixes of internal vst. Not to mention 3rd party stuff. How about beta testing?? Don't like it at Image Line??
We can all agree that they should have fixed all this bugs even before the RC1 come out.

Which settings? There's not much you can do wrong in the settings that would cause such unstability. Anyway, you don't understand what i said. S1 is working very stable here too. I said in the past where i had a few different sequencers. Now i only have S1 and FL. Both are stable as hell.
I don't agree because you can still use v11 side by side to v12 if you have such problems. It's a free upgrade there's no need to wait two years for RC. Also "many" bugfixes for huge updates are normal. I dont have any problem with it because i know they'll fix it as soon as possible. This is how it always was.
You say "just look at this release changelog". Now we come so far to complain the guys did helluva job? I don't get it.
Last word: Funny that especially Cubase was picked out from you as a example how to do it. Ask the people who paid for the upgrade everytime to find themself to be betatesters. So many complaints on the net.

They had a beta on FL12 for a long time before release. Inevitable that people willing to beta test will always be smaller than the release population. FL12 is very stable. Especially for a major upgrade. This changelog is hardly "full" of anything. Save yourself this petty arguing, it's real dumb.Scottex wrote:Send me your settings for s1, i'll fix it for you. I wonder how many bugs in the changelog he helped discover, probably none, yet he has the nerve to complain about bugs not being fixed.KingTuck wrote: They had a beta on FL12 for a long time before release. I have yet to see the changelog which isn't full of bugfixes. That's what updates are there for... to fix bugs... and sometimes to bring new features. But usually the former.
