I honestly don't like how flat looking it is.. Wish they kept it the same with the same colors as v3 and v2 options but more 3d like v2.Skorpius wrote:No, you're not the only one. It might be packed with features, the GUI really puts me off. I find it too dark and confusing.

Totally agree. I got that after a couple of hours of use. Totally efficient worklow. I love Studio One 3. I'm speechless. I did not think this would be this good!InLight-Tone wrote:I'm seriously liking it over Cubase. It's a more modern, faster to use and intuitive streamlined version of it in my opinion.

They killed it with this upgrade, i agree! As far as workflow, it might be the best out there; drag and drop anything, the multi-instrument setup is crazy,(and almost scary easy to use) and that scratch pad and arranger track is brilliant...i wish this idea was adopted years ago! The scratch pad in particular i think you are gonna see pop up in other DAWs in the coming years i suspect.
It's almost ridiculous how much stuff just "works", like i was gonna copy an entire bridge in the arrangement and i thought i had to hold down shift and drag or something...I just hit the "D"(duplicate) command and boom, that whole verse, chorus, whatever is duplicated, just by clicking on the header! Awesome stuff.

I really really liked the old grey too. But after messing with the Appearance sliders for a couple of minutes I managed to come up with something I'm happy with.
And... you can try that too!

Now that's what I'm talking about! Can I get an AMEN!!!! Dude, I'm in shock. You can jump from one insert FX or track instrument to another without closing a damn thing! At first, I was like, "Why is it doing that? It must be broken or something must be loose." LOL! Then it hit me, Holy Shite! This is awesome! Everything you need, seems to always be right there when you need it! No other DAW does this as fluently as Studio One 3. Happy days are ahead for me with this DAW!mobetta wrote:They killed it with this upgrade, i agree! Disclaimer: I'm not in any way saying every other DAW is a useless piece of crap and cannot do what Studio One 3 can do. What I'm saying is that this shit is the bomb, and every other DAW can now srukc ym prenis! Booyah!!!

I much prefer the new gui, I would hate it if they added fake 3D elements.Tjgoa wrote:I honestly don't like how flat looking it is.. Love the flat look. Presonus really killed it with the new GUI in v3.

The only thing I don't get is why plugins have that ridiculously wide ribbon at the top?

It's a simple step sequencer. Turn it on, hit a key or a chord, it inputs the notes and steps.trusampler wrote:Step sequencer? Are there any videos showing this? I haven't seen anything on this yet
