Not that I am aware there are outstanding bugs, I just find its development stagnant.
Its stagnant in the sense that anything which is complete is stagnant.

Red is Red and anything that is Red is an object, a class in itself or a real thing if you prefer"

Nothing is ever complete :-)
Always room for improvement. No?

I finally bought this while it is on sale. It sounds great, but I have one complaint. The interface is really tiny for my aging eyes. I haven't tried it on my desktop machine yet, but on my Windows laptop with a 1920x1280 17" screen, I really have to look closely at those small controls. The font is also not very readable, just like the Oddity.

Otherwise I love it.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

It has three sizes, so maybe you could try one of the bigger ones.

My only complaint has to do with no mouse wheel support in the preset browser. At least it never worked for me.

The GUI is resizeable.

How do you resize it? I couldn't drag to scale it in Ableton, and I looked around (squinting) for an alternate size option...

Edit: thanks zvenx!

Guys, V2 was released in 2010 and when was the last (minor) release ?

I am afraid that it will not has any bug fixes / enhancement until v3. Your thought ?

It's brilliant as it is. Gforce Software are not known for quick development time.

So, I'd say buy it for what it is right now with no expectation of updates.

I was going to suggest my patches but someone got there first. I always make my own Init patch for a synth.

If anyone wants updated versions of these patches I upload them here now:

Just look for impOSCar2. I have some Oddity patches there too and hope to get some Oddity2 ones on there eventually.

As to updates, not much is needed with GForce tbh. People get into update frenzies these days it seems. If it works, it works.

Resize is somewhere odd like the CC menu. Once you select one of the three available sizes you have to restart it for it to load with the new size. It is not resizable by dragging.

I remember that I didn't find the resize control right away, either, when I tried the demo months ago. It seems one can also determine such things in a configuration file:

"The new .sup file lets you change some of the synth’s default settings. There are some different ways you can set that up, so you can have it loaded up the way you like each time. As an example, you could set it to the large GUI, have the effects panel open, and set the way the knobs are controlled by the mouse. It is editable using a text editor."

"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"
