Cant be serious. Does anybody want to download 65 gb of content or more?
Downloads of this size are fairly routine in the games industry. I understand a lot of people are data capped so it's not for everyone, but 65GB would take a little under 2 hours here and my connection isn't particularly exceptional for the UK. Letting something download in the background while you do something else isn't hard work. Why not have the option?
:o :o

i bought 'bioshock infinite' a couple of months ago, but have yet to d'load all 40gig. i share a 2meg connection with 2 other people, and the download would need to be at full speed for over 2 days

i dream of your not "particularly exceptional" speed :( :(

Having the option would be nice.

Why isn't there a Spectrasonics D50 VSTI by now? There is obviously enough demand and ever since Roland introduced the plugouts with Aria there has been D50 speculation.

A VSTI should be based on the original Roland D50 ROM. The Korg Legacy M1 is a good example. The old Korg K-Series MIDI controllers even had a joystick.

I would say it would be because Spectrasonics only has copyright on the ROM, but not the DSP technology that's in the D50. So really, the onus is on Roland to make the VSTi.

I've found Sound Match feature quite useful, just wondering what would be the best practice to mark (rate) the sound from there?
I can switch to the Attributes view and give stars to the sound, but the browser seems to forget the sound that's originally matched for.

Size of downloads, whats coming out, whats been released, whats being updated...... its important, but when a dev decides to send a messenger, i find it to be a good thing.

Welcome to KVR (at least from me), thanks for mingling with the peons (speaking for me).

heres an idea. spectrasonics should sell a lite version of omnisphere for $99 that comes with 500mb of sample content and presets. and it could be downloaded from the spectrasonics site. some people like me create most of their own patches and if omnisphere lite contained a good set of presets under 500mb i would consider buying it.
HW SYNTHS [KORG T2EX - AKAI AX80 - YAMAHA SY77 - ENSONIQ VFX]
HW MODULES [OBi M1000 - ROLAND MKS-50 - ROLAND JV880 - KURZ 1000PX]
SW [CHARLATAN - OBXD - OXE - ELEKTRO - MICROTERA - M1 - SURGE - RMiV]
DAW [ENERGY XT2/1U RACK WINXP / MAUDIO 1010LT PCI]

Reinstalled Trilian and updated it and it only has 10 presets for the Arpeggiator. How did that happen? I suppose I will have to uninstall and reinstall it.

Update
Fixed it I copy and pasted the ARP presets from Omnispher into Trilian.

I'm wondering if VIP ugrade to Omnisphere 2 is download only, or whether there is a disc upgrade to 2 option. ???

+1. Having similar work flow / saving issues which I describe in my thread here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 1&t=444011

Stylus RMX! give us that **** again!

Welcome. Please implement the long overdue midi out feature request for omni 2 and replace the clunky pop-up menu for choosing arps.
Also need easy value selectors or mouse drag for changing values of notes in the arp instead of the cumbersome pop-up menu.
Will you be starting a sub-forum here?
