I appreciate you're a beginner, but you're going to have to ask something more specific otherwise we'll just think you're taking the piss with this thread.

There are thousands of VST effects, for different purposes.
Do you want people to list them all for you?
(If so, check the KVR effects list yourself).

To cut to the chase, if you're after a very good multi-effects package, get something like Soundtoys v4 (v5), u-he Uhbiks, NI Komplete.
Individual plugins by Melda, Audio Damage, Xils-Lab or PSP etc... are great.

Sausage Fattener is amusing, but there are better quality effects (and certainly more diverse effects!) available.

I already gave the definitive answer, this contains practically every effect you'll ever need and the means to combine them in a modular fashion and then modulate practically every parameter with the most comprehensive modulation system you'll find in any plugin.

Answer given, lock the thread please

^^ in fairness, quite an amazing option for a good value price.

(But I prefer simpler layouts to go with my simpler mind!).

Best plug-in effect is anything you put on your master track. That way we can tell you've finished a track
which is the most important thing actually...

Me too. You would like this plugin, which does all Mxxx does and has a simpler GUI.

It's not released yet. Rumors are they already started working on it. Also rumored release date: Q2 2017. But given their history, you'll probably have to reach for your wallet sometime in 2018.

Actually, I once tried this plug in.
And I hated it!!!

Anyone who buys into the marketing crap of this plugin's developers only has themselves to blame for being LOSERS.

Your question doesn't make sense. VST is a framework, not a plugin.
