With an iRig line product, there's typically a companion mobile app (and many times desktop software) so that wouldn't be too far off. However, verifying that also doesn't really give any more insight as to what it is. Not to mention that sometimes the companion apps already exist (but I'm not saying that's the case here).

Sure, I'm sure that would be time well spent to research a little joke I just 'had' to make too. I can stalk you if you want and if it would make you feel special or something, but I'd have to do that off the clock and I'm sure my rates for companionship - even just online - might be a little pricey.

I'd ask Teddy to chime in here to let you know his thoughts on it, but I'm sure he'll check it out soon regardless and might be a little too busy actually making music for a living to reply to you personally. I'll pass on your thoughts about his use of ST3 and see if I can get his thoughts on Miroslav Philharmonik 2 once he digs in (yes, some important people do already have access).

you don't have to stalk me. just the fact that you are primed, ready for my snark, should let you know that hasn't happened in a long while. of course, that is unless you might be willing to admit that in the meantime i have gone under your radar, and actually contributed to ik threads without any snark at all. it's your contention, so perhaps it behooves you to see if it bears truth

of course, you're right - the fact that i have only a very small group of followers on my soundcloud, and don't make a living from music, means i surely don't have any right to pass comment on a high-level artist, or your signature

thing is, i have absolutely no idea who teddy riley is. however, i am still gonna guess that not only is sampletank not his "go-to for everything", but that being, apparently, a high-level artist, he actually can work without it. you might see that as harmless hyperbole, but it's also two lies, in service of promoting your product, and immortalised (and emboldened) in your signature. it has nothing to do with not liking it, and everything to do with it not being true

if you want me to say something nice to put in your signature, it's that i think you're far too intelligent to lower yourself to such a level. of course, being the talentless, 'unknown' that i am, you'd clearly do well to ignore it

I apologize for my contribution to it. I'll clean up my mess (OK, that's still off-topic and gross, I'll apologize for the immature humor too!).

You will know soon what it is, there have been some pretty good guesses and in context of where this is posted I suppose you guys have a little more advantage or I should say context to work with. Not to say there weren't great guesses on Facebook, though, even without context. I mean, we make certain types of products, this looks like it fits into at least one of those types quite firmly so... I'm still not telling but you'll know soon.

And definitely sorry about the ego back and forth with el-bo who is more than worthy on either side of the debate - happy to have him as either engaged in constructive debate against or with me This time it was a bit much though, again sorry to have contributed to the mess (ugh, that time the pun was unintentional and even grossed me out).
