This is a tricky one. I used MME/Directx then it worked in OBS. But i never quite managed to get it working with Asio. http://epsilon144.com/?req=misc&page=a8

Edit: Ok so i got it working with OBS and Ableton Live.

On new computer. Tricky again. To bad there is no simple solution with this video+sound from daw for Windows.

Screenpresso https://www.screenpresso.com - there is also a free version. I bought the Pro Version and its worth the money.

Have you tried capture asio audio and video from host? It is not very simple.

I didn't had any trouble capturing audio and video (Win10, Fl Studio 20, Asio) but as far as i remember, you should set your audio interface as standard in the Windows 7/10 settings or even deactivate the internal (mostly Realtek) mainboard soundchip.

Yeah, internal soundcard is disabled in bios. External soundcard is default device. This with Asio recording in Windows is a known diffiult procedure. You might have used mme/directx which works ok-ish. The Voicemeeter program i can't get to work with the routings this time with OBS studio. Last time that i got it to work was down to pure luck

I thought the thing most people were doing is record the audio within the DAW, and then sync audio and video in the video editor.

Probably so. I have done it some times. But i would gladly it would be simple to get it all together directly in Windows.

I think most people who make video's use an audio interface with loopback function. This makes it super easy to record ASIO audio.

I'm reading about about it now. Very cool feature! Thankfully, I have it on my UR22 mk2.
