I suppose it will work in Surface Pro and as in my case the Windows 23" multi-touch monitor.
I use Sonar or Studio One and will be great to have the Audulus as a VSTi on the touch screen.

It is a synth but can it be used as a midi controller?
Turn off the synth and only use the midi controllers. Would be great if so.
It has a midi input but does is have a midi output?
Version 2 works fine on Windows with a touch screen as a VSTi.
I use it with a 23" on Win8.1 64bit.
Also comes as a stand alone.

No update has been given for when v3 will be available to us though
I forgot about your earlier posts.
got interested again on Audulus because of thread:
Am I the only one who couldn't care less about touchscreen?
I have GTX 970 graphics card with OpenGL 4.4 so I am safe.

So it is a VSTi synth. Can it process the user audio?
Can it be used as a Midi controller?
Audulus 3 for Windows can't be that far off.
I will wait, or attempt to wait.

Which brand 23" monitor are you using.
Are you happy with it ?
What DAW do you use?
If you can please comment on how you use it.
for editing, playing or ...

Has the intro price run out on this, only just found it and it is double the intro price on the app store.

I wouldnt worry what brand of screen I have, it will work as long as your OS supports touch and you have OPenGL v2 or higher.
Watch the available videos to see how it functions, better than my pathetic attempts with words lol

It cannot be used as a midi controller.
It does not process external audio.
Ive used it in Bitwig and Live.

Bare in mind the version you will get your hands on will be v3 and so may behave differently.

Thanks for the valuable info.

I will continue to wait
for Usine Hollyhock to become available as a VSTi.
and
For Lemur to be ported to the Windows environment.
Not holding my breath however.

I have the 23" ViewSonic TD 2340, 10 touch screen and am very happy wit it.
It seats on my desk angled up a little below two non-touch vertical monitors.

I am having an issue when I combine touch and mouse use. The mouse pointer
snaps to my finger. A bit annoying and hope that there is a solution.

@KK
It might be worth it to you to pick up a cheapish Android tablet for Lemur.

The older version of Usine is available to registered users and can be used a VST instrument or effect.
Lord knows if or when the current version will be released as a plugin.

(Ps I just discovered the commercial TAL plugs are resizable and multitouch, must be made with JUCE. D16 too)

It's 49.99 NZD for me in the App Store (iOS)!! No thanks!

But if it has the same price for a Windows version, I will buy it :)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I have iPad and Lemur but will prefer to have it on a larger screen with multiple instances. Better yet if Lemur was a VSTi.

The older version of Lemur is free for owners of the current version IIRC. I do not own Usine.

I hope that all VST's are made using JUSE. A few are and would be great if they noted it in the specs.

I have a question. If you buy the iPad version, do you get the Windows version when it is release? Will it be 64 bit? And, if so, could I use my ipad as a controller for the Windows VST? That would be awesome.
