Looks interesting but I cant get it to do anything. There are 2 setup files and the readme says run the executable! I ran the setup and it said it was going to replace old files and reboot, after reboot, setup said same thing! When I ran the exe file , clicking on boxes dosnt seem to do anything. I use windows xp sp1. This could be a major program but please dont use visual basic - it sux !! or at least use a recent version. A wizard is needed as there are too many boxes everywhere, we need a step by step guide which takes you through the procedure. Sorry to sound negative, as I said - this thing could really rock if its cleaned up

The install path can be changed, but its difficult to do so. AAMS comes with an Styles Database that is in the installation directory that needs to support aams. If you install the setup in a different directory AAMS will not reconise the style database. As most of you have a C:\ drive, i made the installer install in c:\program files\aams and the Style database accoringly.
You can change the path to another directory, but you have to copy the style database and know what you are doing...
Please for people who have a C:\ drive, install it in c:\program files\aams.
For people who dont have a C:\ drive you can install the AAMS installer on another dive, but its not recommended yet...
Read the instructions on my site below the download screen.... These are the helpfiles.

Excellent idea, this program. Especially because it only analyses audio, not trying to process it, making suggestions and leaving tha processing part to you. Personally, I would never process a song with any of the high-promising "all-in-one-mastering" tools [utter BS if you ask me... better to use your ears, knowledge, experience and separate audio processors], but analysing a song before mastering is tedious work, so this software is a very, very good idea and very helpful. I wish you all the best with it. At first, I thought it to be something like Har-bal, but fortunately it isn't, it's much better and you can actually learn something with it.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Yes , its programmed in visual basic. because visual basic is much much easyer to program. This program is programmed in 3 months time, and i would program it again in C++ as time comes around. But for C++ programs you would have to wait for another few months or so, so i tried to bring out the first program in visual basic to show the public my ideas.
As i am busy now to resolve any user problems, please download the new version. It has quite a lot of bugs removed allready.
Ok its not flashy on the layout or graphics as some other programs, but that will come in time.
I would not wait users any longer for more flashy graphics, its an audio program, it will be sufficient for now. And heck its only V1.0!
Please download the new installer and check it out again today... Let me know how you like it and i am sorry about the buggy release from this week, i did some additional coding that did not work quite well as expected. Now it does,
Please Download AAMS.zip again and let me know...
THX!

the shit installer doesnt works for me.
here's what i do and what happens:
1 - unzip the aams.exe from aams.zip
2 - start aams.exe (which copies lots of stuff to c:\program files\aams (what should be c:\programme\aams coz its a german windows i use and normally the vb installer detects correct "programs" path)
3 - the installer also copies files to the system dir and i have to reboot
when i try to start aams using the aams.exe from C:\program files\AAMS\Install\Support i get runtime error 76 (path not found), the prog opens but i cant do anything. (there's no other aams.exe file)
when i try to use one of the setup files from the C:\program files\AAMS\* directories i have to go through steps 1-3 with the same result.
whats wrong???
