hi,
i downloaded the files and extracted the wav's but i got a codec error when trying to play them.

WMP/WinAmp don't play 24/96 files...so you'll have to import into your sequencer...

okay i've converted them to 16 bit 44.1kHz Mono wav files. check the same space...

i think they sound a bit better in stereo..

anyways, these are completely synthetic, so they may not be what you need. give them a listen tho, it's probably better to try them in a sequencer; as they're such short files, media players can add extra clicks/pops at the beginning and end.

thanks for taking the time to make these samples. i really appreciate the help. i just checked them out and, yes, they are more synthetic than i was looking for. however they do sound cool and may be very useful for layering under an arc snap sample to give it a bit more life/sizzle. (since the effect may need that to be more powerfull with the visuals.)

thanks again,

no problem man.

to my ears, i think KerSnap2 and KSnappph1 have the most 'crack' to them - especially when played really loud. i hope that they prove useful to you, and i'm sure they'd provide a good starting point.

glad to have been of some help.
