You should have received a coupon code in your email. I received mine 2 hours after the release notification mail.
As a side note for upgraders using paypal : Do not click the paypal button as a way to skip the account/billing information, since it goes directly to the payment (skipping the coupon code form).
Instead fill the first checkout form and you'll get the coupon form right before choosing your payment method.

Yay! Upgrade is a complete no-brainer, and I've been missing this beauty ever since migrating to 64bit. Now to take it for a spin...

Downloaded the demo, really good stuff. But I decided not to get the upgrade because I just can't use the GUI. It is almost as bad as the original one was

I did make it bigger, but I didn't want to go overboard. The font size has increased and is much easier to read. I think it's a pretty standard size in comparison to most plugins.fluffy_little_something wrote:Downloaded the demo, really good stuff. Excellent job! This sounds really goodAh_Dziz wrote:Here's some stuff I did while beta testing: https://soundcloud.com/ah_dziz/vhs-logo
That's like a corny old vhs logo theme

That's all phonec, including the drums. This thing is worth the price for sure. Glad to not have to bridge it anymore.

I really like the synth. It sounds old in a good way of course
Next time you release a demo version, please just remove save presets and audio mixdown, because it was a nightmare to check out this synth with silence every 15 seconds.
Anyway, good job.
Anyway, good job.
Induljon a banzáj!

Got it thank you. Phonec 2 is phenomenal. Congrats on making one of my favorites from the past into a go to synth for the future. Great work.jack [psychicmodulation] wrote:Email sent.ravasb wrote:I own all his synths. Where was the upgrade price?Numanoid wrote:...and the upgrade price is extremely kind![]()

I thought the same thing. didn't even feel like 15 secs, more like 5 or 10e-modic wrote:I really like the synth. Am I the only one that can't read the black fonts on dark orange buttons? Maybe it would have been better to invert the font color with red buttons as well, like with those blue tabs of the mod section. If the fonts were in that light beige color of the Phonec panel, contrast would be way better.
A little dice symbol would have been appropriate for the randomize feature. !?! makes me think of a Help feature...
Many patches are rather loud, volume is usually set to max it seems.
I would have set apart the ADSR sliders from the other three sliders in the env sections. The T and V parameters belong to the Level parameter, at least more so than to the ADSR parameters.

I'd have to agree about the dropouts... They are a bit much and it does make it hard to know if this is something you'll use. If it weren't for all the great demos, I probably would have passed.fluffy_little_something wrote:I thought the same thing. didn't even feel like 15 secs, more like 5 or 10e-modic wrote:I really like the synth. And @Fluffy... Agreed. I thought the !?! was for a help section not a randomize feature.

If I didn't like the sound of your plugin as much as I do, I wouldn't have purchased because of the UI. It is too small. I zoom in so I can see the text on the orange, and even the text on the blue (like above the sync box under modulation). I'm on a 27" screen at 2K resolution (thankfully haven't switched to 4K).jack [psychicmodulation] wrote:I did make it bigger, but I didn't want to go overboard. Anyway, complaints aside this a great synth full of character. It made me break my rule of no small UI plugins and it was also my first non-Kontakt instrument purchase in well over a year. Nice work.

The travel of the envelope sliders is extremely short, which makes operation difficult. Sure, one can keep the Ctrl key pressed, but that means that I can't play while changing the parameter, I would need a third hand
The whole GUI is almost suffocating me, makes me feel claustrophobic. Everything is so dense while at the bottom there are those huge PM and Phonec labels.

I think the most important change of v1 to v2 was to give it x64 compatability and to make it work on several OS's
v2 sounds great, but I don't see that much difference from v1
In v2 there is an extra waveform in the OSCs, randomizer button for oscs/modulation/filter has been added, but other than that what I see is mostly redesign of features that were already in v1.
I'm struggling a little to understand that the filter in v2 is not less equipped than in v1, as v1 had 10 filter modes, while v2 only has 4 (plus a choice to select if Linear, Exponential or Inverted Exp), but v2 has also got dedicated knobs for LPF and HPF so I guess that makes it an improvement.
