Thank you!chk071 wrote:Great sounds and sound demos, fit nicely to the theme.
Happy to hear you think the sounds fit the theme. Was going for more of a sci-fi feel as opposed to a logical - futuristic space exploration motif. Which would've still been a cool theme too i think.

Yes, there's a lot that can go into a space theme in general. I find it strange that we seem to know more about space than we do our own oceans. Maybe someone should make an oceanic themed sound set.

I was going to, but as quite a few different synths where involved the only possible way would be KontaktRidan wrote:Maybe someone should make an oceanic themed sound set.

. i bought it as soon as i saw your message. i hope that 10 usd is okay (i oriented myself on the prices of your other soundsets). i'm looking forward to volumes 2 and 3 in the series (and hope that funding volume 1 gives you some motivation to carry on with your great sounddesign).
thanks and cheers
My pleasure!teacue wrote:Thank you!
Appreciate that. Huge fan of your work so that means a lot. Thanks for helping test it too. Your input was crucial.aMUSEd wrote:Congrats on the release - this is a lovely bank - lots of beautiful atmos and pads

On a side note, I'm also taking requests for what type of sounds should be the main focal point of vol 2. So far got a couple of requests for more Arps.

Congrats on the release Brandon!!!
The sound bank bank is really brilliant. Nearly every patch is gorgeous and has some very interesting sounds with a lot of movement. Superb!
Edit* Oh yeah, I wanted to mention your first welcome patch where you spliced a vocal into bits to form a wavetable and had the mseg cycle through it to recreate the orginal phrase. Nice! I had thought of that idea a while ago and was wondering if it were possible. Nice to see it done. How'd you create the wavetable?

Thank you very much Tim! One of my most enjoyable projects so far.Touch The Universe wrote:Congrats on the release Brandon!!!The sound bank bank is really brilliant. Nearly every patch is gorgeous and has some very interesting sounds with a lot of movement. Superb!
Good question. I used a free voice generator to say and record the phrase, then loaded the wav. inside of Audio Term - http://www.matrixsynth.com/2012/04/tran ... m-new.htmlTouch The Universe wrote:Edit* Oh yeah, I wanted to mention your first welcome patch where you spliced a vocal into bits to form a wavetable and had the mseg cycle through it to recreate the orginal phrase. After that it's just a matter of tweaking the wav to your liking and exporting it to the Dune 2 .WT format, which Audio Term can export among other wavetable formats.
Very simple.
My first experiment with that method was when i made a "welcoming gift" for Frank of Krezie Sounds right after he bought Dune 2 named - "Hello Frank". It was a lot of fun and still wish i had that patch. It's lurking in my hard drive somewhere I'm sure.
