The bass notes sound exaggerated rich, but I like that.

That really is a nice piano sound.

I also just discovered that Her Song makes a nice piece of music to put in front of Stumble Through This Life, by Kyle. I think they sound nice that way on my playlist, anyway.

You might even want to try teaming up with Kyle for a song or two?

Not a bad song either! But colab? I'm already doing 2, and NOT working on my own music enough these days! Ugh! A few extra hours in a day would be nice.

That's what I get for not editing, or doing more than one take.

I even left the timing errors for good effect.

My rs-5 had some lovely pianos in it as well.

Each to their own! I'll stick to the Malmsjo or Gigapiano, myself. I can't really abide those kind of bright pianos with scant dynamic range, but I suppose they have their place.

Yup!

I deleted the Gigapiano over a year ago off my harddrive. I'm hoping the new one with Giga3 will be a lot better.

Interesting... I rather like Gigapiano, other than that I find it a little too sharp sounding in places, but much less so than your mp3.. So what is it that you dislike about Gigapiano?

it's been several years since I played it, but was pretty impressed with it.
in other words, it's been so long since I played it, I don't remember ever disliking it.

Too flat sounding. When I played it the first time, it was 'wow!', but that's because the best I had at the time was a 64 meg 4 layer piano for my EMu. Once I heard the Steinway B, I couldn't stand it anymore. I ended up getting the Steinway D as my main piano, which I somewhat regret, and really would like to get a Yamaha C7 instead. I use the Kawai piano in its place most times though, and was totally worth the $32 I paid for that.

well, as they say..tastes are different. I've got the Steinway B giga. I tried the Yamaha C-7 and didn't like it at all. Which is odd, because at one time I almost bought a real one. (Jim Brickman bought the one I was considering).
It's been well over 2 years since I removed gigasampler altogether..

Name that piano?
