I was planing on selling my copy of Xpand which I've owned for a while....so much for that idea........

Only thing I've found is that Mac Bitwig can't see it. Anyone find the same?
*edit* So Bitwig doesn't like exclamation marks in the filename. Renamed plugin to Xpand2.vst and all seems well

Just bought this too. Already had it included with Pro Tools and it is great. Nice to also have it as a VST plugin.
Indeed a lot of very nice presets there.

iLok is not a problem here as i got the dongle anyway. Activation and sending teh license to the iLok 2 key was quite simple with the License manager.

Very nice!! I was recently looking at Air plugins and thought that this one in particular might be a good one to get for a silly low price if ever on sale. I am a sucker for Romplers (-edit- Oh, it has synthesis as well... a combined sample rompler and synth player it seems). Never thought I would get it for free though. I had a few bucks in virtual cash on Pluginboutique, applied the .76 pounds in virtual credit and just got it for free. Thanks for the heads up!

May I ask how the license works here? Because I got it (in bundle) but never installed, since it required a virtual ilok. Is it still this way?

You need the iLok License Managaer (+ an iLok account) and use "Redeem" with the activation code you get. Then you could send it either to an iLok 2 key (= dongle) or to your HD.

As i got the dongle anyway i used that one.

Of course, for many of us, it is the PACE parasitic software that is the bigger issue than the dongle itself.

I find it ironic that companies over-worrying about their software getting hacked will infect it with this PACE product and then much to do with that, end up having to consistently give it away to get customers...

Yep, not even worth a dollar to me when it uses PACE.

I wanted to buy a copy for a friend but it doesn't seem that you can buy things as gifts on the pluginboutique web site. It wants to add it to my account when I put it in my cart and I don't see a "buy as a gift" option. I don't really want my buddy's serial # in my account and I don't know if it would be tied to my Pluginboutique login email.. I have my own copy already... anyway, I just emailed them to find out..
