That would be GCAPEFAA then. Dare to call mine and Phuzzy's music anything alse and you're in for big trouble...

Like it says to the left, my name is Scot Solida, and I'm married to a college dance/choreography teacher, and we have a six year old son. All of my adult life has been spent working in the arts. I am a professional illustrator, specialising in Science Fiction paintings done with acrylic paints. I own a screenprinting business, and I do a lot of professional sound design for my company The Electronic Garden. I have a "band" called Christus And The Cosmonaughts which includes a bassist and a guitarist. We do "psychedelic-gothic-progressive-spacerock", and have a small, but loyal following. I also have some side projects, such as Wormtongue, an electronic improv thing in the vein of Tangerine Dream, Heldon, Klaus Schulze, etc.
At the rare times when I am not doing the things listed above, I am an avid reader of Science Fiction and Murder Mysteries. I am a collector of anything "Tolkien-related", and have some rare and wonderful things in my collection. I also like to dabble in building my own electronic instruments. I have built a number of Theremins for various people, including my old friend Edward Ka-Spel, of Legendary Pink Dots fame.
If there is anything better than staying up late with my son and watching "Doctor Who", I have yet to experience it.

hehe, as far as I know there's already been a second coming of Christ, his name was G.G. Allin
I never said I disliked JC by the way, some of his teachings are okay, although if someone hits me in the face I won't turn my other cheek. I'll probably do nasty things to kneecaps or something

Poweruser: Yep, been a Doctor Who fan for as long as I can remember. They play it in the States on Public Television, and as a kid I would watch with my Grandpa every night as 5:30 PM. Now, it's on less often, but I get the videos when I can, and my son loves it. He loves making Dalek-voices through my effects processors.
sCAB: I am fortunate to have known Edward, Phil, Neils, and many Dot's members that have come and gone. They used to stay with us when we lived in Phoenix and they toured the US. We don't communicate much these day, but I still see them on the tours, and we sometimes get the chance to hang out a bit. They are wonderful people, and true visionaries. I recently did the artwork for one of Edward's solo records "O'r A Shalabastyr Tyde Strolt Ay", and printed the shirts and stickers for it. I believe those shirts were sold on the European tour recently. Both the Dot's and I release records through Beta-lactam Ring Records out of Oregon. Along with Howard DeVoto and Mark E Smith, Edward is one of my favorite lyricists. Brilliant.

Yay, I'm a Dr Who fan too, got about 80 of the books downstairs from when I were a lad. Davros has got to be one of my all time favorite sampling voices. His mad speech in Genesis of the daleks is ace. Strangely enough, I once played this through one speaker, and Tony Blairs acceptance speech as leader of the labour party through a ring modulator through the other speaker. Hmm, the resemblance was uncanny!

Scott, judging from the pictures I've seen of you, you also *look* like someone who hangs out with Legendary Pink Dots people
I'm not sure whether you look pink or legendary though, but your on-stage outfits are totally cool, or do you wear those clothes at home as well?
