It's not too bad with the Blofeld as its matrix editor is actually quite good. The hard part there is its quite a deep synth and it would really need something like the Virus's layout to be more manageable. Something like the Studio Electronics ATC-1 can work with a 1-knob interface because its such a simple instrument.and having to work on a limited display with loads of tabs and pages seems pretty uninviting...
Especially for sample instruments.i do get the appeal of hardware... but software does have so many advantages.
