Anyone given up with their DAW and gone back to hardware?

This is where the designs of the Tetra and Andromeda really make sense, they have individual outputs for each voice so you can record all your audio in at once.

It's not too bad with the Blofeld as its matrix editor is actually quite good. The hard part there is its quite a deep synth and it would really need something like the Virus's layout to be more manageable. Something like the Studio Electronics ATC-1 can work with a 1-knob interface because its such a simple instrument.
i do get the appeal of hardware... but software does have so many advantages.
Especially for sample instruments.

Yeah, at least for the last 2 weeks. Only had my Yamaha RM1x groovebox. It was huge fun. Floppy disk, baby!
