Looks interesting but the name is very misleading. I also thought it was about the 3D modelling app.

If the music in the teaser was all modeled instruments and drums I think that was really good!

I couldn't help but notice there was also a brief electric piano sound in the opening seconds, sounded like a Rhodes) as well as an acoustic piano in the later part. I wonder if there is also a set of modeled keyboards? If the amp sims are anything to go by, I wouldn't doubt if these are pretty realistic. Hopefully without destroying cpu...

So maybe four versions? MODO for Drums, Bass, Guitar and Keyboards?

IK needs to concentrate on fixing all their bugs first on Amplitube and Sampletank before thinking about a new product.

Good luck with this effort. It sounds significantly good if those are modeled instruments as implied. This could certainly open some new doors for IKM.

The clip mentions collaboration with a European University - so is this anything to do with IRCAM Modalys?

^this is what i thought. i am fairly sure i will resist the temptation to buy it regardless how good it will be. but if soundtrack is made with the new product i am truly impressed

I'm fairly certain it's a bass model only, as suggested by the 4 vibrating strings which are omnipresent in the video.
So while that would still be cool, I really wouldn't get my hopes up for anything else being modelled, the rest of the soundtrack is most likely samples to flesh out the music.

They took Trademarks out on Modo Drums, Guitar, Bass, and perhaps others so I assume in time it will be more than just the Bass.......

Looking forward to know more about what MODO is capable of.

I'm a big fan of physical modeling when it is done well.
