It's actually a complete rewrite of the user interface (which was needed to switch to 64bit on OSX because of Apple lack of support for 64bit carbon).
I dont know why any devs bother with supporting apple os's. Every update is a step backwards. Its like apple really dont want ppl to use it.

So, after all this work to compensate for apples excuse for an os, when can users expect audio improvements/updates?

What's wrong with the audio quality (except reverb)? Still sounds pretty good to me...

A lot of people still use Apple computers, so I suppose they are an important pool of potential customers.

Actually we went from a license file TO a serial number. Quick and easy activation for online computers (just enter serial and go), and C/R for offline computers.

In the old version copying, say, filter A to filter B required 3 clicks (C, switching to other layer, P). Now it is 5 clicks (Menu, Copy, switching to other layer, Menu, Paste).
No it's still 3 clicks. To copy press the left mouse button down on the settings button to open the menu, hold it down and drag to select 'Copy' then release it. So it is still one click (just with a very small drag in it). If you do this a few times it's really just as quick as it was before.
OK, it works as you say. Still, I don't like that operation. I never use it in Word etc., either. I prefer opening a menu and then calmly looking for the option I want :hihi:
Why did you add the menus? There is just one more option than before and there is still lots of space in the section top bars (for a little i button). It's not that there are further options like for saving and loading section presets like on Hive.

Because it's tidier, more intuitive and optionally allows to add more options such as preset settings.

Maybe because majority of working professionals in industry are using it.
This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here? :D ShawnG

Just stopped by to say great work Lennard. I'm considering buying in during the sale, but regardless... it's a nice piece. Still sounds timeless.

Sorry you're right, I should have said that it has changed from a license file to C/R.
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

I don't know why devs bother supporting Windows when it isn't open source.

So, Mac users are guilty for all that trash music which is on mainstream charts?
OK, I'll take it.

If you have your old license file you can still use that for verification.
