I used Chrome without a problem,I dislike and avoid Safari as much as possible ,have you tried buying w/Firefox?

This might be a strange question and suggestion ,have you tried closing the browsers and restarting your computer? Sometimes that can do the trick,I guess cache or something........

@aMUSEd we see working paypal transactions for Ether Fields so it do not seems to be a paypal issue so maybe something different in your configuration.
