No sorry, I wasn't clear. The file info for the final file can only be edited from the Edit view. If you made a crossfade between two or more files you first have to mixdown/bounce the part as one file and edit the info there. You can edit the loop and sample info in multi track view, but it's on clip level for the current session.
yeah... sorry... i should have been more clear:
i don't want to crossfade between two different samples, i want to create a crossfaded loop with adjustable crossfade-curves in each sample and store that crossfade-loop info into the wave file directly. so far i only know wavelab (and soundforge, i believe) that allow for this. the acustica wave editor can also do this, but it doesn't allow the crossfade curves to be edited, nor the crossfade time - it's fixed to 25 and 50%...
i actually wonder why no other audio editor allows for such basic functionality - there's enough sounddesigners who have to create multisamples and when it comes to stereo/detuned material, adjustable curves, crossfade times and equal power crossfades are a must...
