Anybody use CM Vault? I just bought issue 247 through Zinio but can only access up to issue 245 in the vault.
Btw this version of Litote allows finer control over 1 of the 4 engines.

cm has switched to FileSilo with effect from cm246. The old cm Vault downloads will be transferred in due course. See page 5 in cm247.
https://www.filesilo.co.uk/computermusic/
You'll need to register there, then unlock the specific issue. NB: DO NOT use a download manager.
There's an 8-minute video tutorial too.

No need for a download manager to take down the plug, the zip file is just about 10MB in size.

Of course; I was thinking of other readers who want the sample libraries or the tutorial files or the other videos or ...

Ahh okay, thanks a bunch! FileSilo is a pretty good setup. I'm big on Inear Display, own everything but Litote just because of lack of controls. I suspect it will be updated soon-

A very nice freebie, easy installation, low on CPU and the randomizer button is perfect for this kind of plug

Another obvious but cool trick I've found with Litote (really have no idea why I haven't though about this earlier
) is to stack 2 or 3 Litote one after the other all with different randomized parameters. Automatic organic texture generators!
I really think this little gem is very underrated. It has a huge experimental potential under the hood.

Just got word of a long awaited update to 1.1: engine parameters now exposed!

Haven't had a chance to experiment yet but looking interesting; changelog:
Inear Display Litote Changelog
=== Version 1.1 ===
- new : Engine Editor allowing manual adjustment of the underlying parameters
- new : Stereo Link option for each engine
- new : MIDI Mapping of the XY pad
- new : MIDI Program Change Support
- various minor bugfixes

That's great news - It was weird having the CM version being seemingly more powerful than the one I actually payed for !
