Ableton Mac vs PC

Ableton is very unstable on PC.
There are only two choices.
Ableton on Mac or Bitwig on Win.

This is just not true for the vast majority of users.

Ableton on PC is about as stable as a DAW can get, since v9 at least. Live 8 was a nightmare, and probably the source of most woes that people have, but Live 9 has never crashed on me once, unless it's a plugin that causes it. In which case, it could do the same on OSX (I use Live on both Mac and PC).

Runs solid on both Mac (10.11.1) and PC (W10) for me.

Ableton apparently doesn't like AU plugins.
