Looks like the pump was primed from the get-go.

Sorry, but Cakewalk has a big enough issue with its reputation here. This sort of immature BS gives Sonar users and their forum a bad name.
I got a mention :hihi: but seriously, I did get a mention if you know what I mean. I'm tempted to delete pretty much every post on the 1st page just to start over but I do also realize this could be a wind up so I'm not exactly afraid to hit lock either.

That appears to be more about the bad reputation Avid Pro Tools is creating for themselves and how Sonar is the remedy.

Which makes it a +1 for Sonar.
Read further. The OP started this thread just to get a rise out of KVR.

...and here we go.

Not sure what you thought you were proving with a link to the Sonar site, but all that posts shows is that Sonar users get to keep the current version of Sonar (if they pay the subscription for a year), even if they stop paying the subscription. This is opposed to Avid's plan for Pro Tools, which cuts you off from the DAW completely if you stop paying the subscription (per Avid).

Not only is that a "win" for Sonar users, but it's totally irrelevant to what the OP posted here.

Seriously, folks, if you can't just say "Well, good luck with Sonar. I've had my problems with it, but I'm glad you're happy," then please don't say anything at all. We don't dump all over your DAW. Just grow up. Please.
