With websites like this, I just highlight the text so I can read it.

On my screen, it looks like green text on a green background.

Thank you very much for your generosity, Zombie Queen! Beat knitter is just the thing to liven up a laid back Friday afternoon. Inspiring instrument!

Kind regards,

Yes, it is, in fact, green on green... I'm quite fond of it, there's some nostalgia factor and reminiscence of green monochromatic monitor, I've been using in the old days... But readability should come first. I changed the theme to white on green, how do you find it now? Is it acceptable, or I should think of darkening the green as well...? (linky)

This machine is kind of convoluted by design. Frankly, I would be afraid to start updating it. It would only get more and more twisted. Also, the way it picks sounds, there wouldn't be much use for exported MIDI clip. I think the Knitter would do much better job on this.

Meanwhile I'm a bit swamped with the next big machine... Here's a glimpse...

Thanks much Z! I can read it more easily now; would prefer darker background, but it's ok. Colors on my monitor are not best.
Did you also work on Time Funnel?
OT: Do you plan on adding scales to WIP two dimentional sequencer? Is Note Map Pattern essentially the same as scale? I look forward to trying it.

Great. I will consider changing the general theme to darker background, when I decide to do a page facelift. Thank you for bringing this.

What is Time Funnel?
Musical Gym wrote:OT: Do you plan on adding scales to WIP two dimentional sequencer? Is Note Map Pattern essentially the same as scale?
There are pre-programmed scales or you can pick which notes to use manually. Without tonic and some background understanding, it's not quite a scale, so I decided to use term 'note pattern'. There is a grid, where every cell has a note number assigned, according to selected pattern and note range. A number of cursors are traveling the field playing notes on filled cells, it's like hopping through a stack of keyboards.

Oh, I only did a small bit, helping with the arp module.

Awesome stuff! Thank you! :tu:

Looks like a cool little free gem. Thanks. Will try out.

Thanks. I reckon, there's some charm in 16 steps plan.
