Sorry for the confusion, i meant whether you can log into FileSilo with the old Vault logins, which is not possible. As written above, you can request a new password for your (Vault) email though, on FileSilo.

Has anyone had an issue with the Login button on FIleSilo? I click it and it does nothing. :hihi:

EDIT: Nevermind, got it. Just needed to clean out the cache for some reason! :oops:

It is quite easy opening an account at FileSilo

I hope the migration of old mags from CM Vault will be just as easy :pray:

I just got signed in and all my mag goodies are there! Very cool! I prefer the layout of the Vault though, but that's no big deal.

I got green locks on issue 246 back to 242, so far....

Probably goes without saying, but seems it is important the E-mail a user signs up with is the same as at CM Vault.

Indeed. I had to doublecheck the email I'd used for CM Vault before signing up on FileSilo as I have multiple email addresses. :hihi:

anyone having problems downloading from FileSilo? It's always stuck on 99%...

It's worth noting that we've now added download buttons (the little 'cloud' icons) directly next to assets on the main issue page. This means you can start all your downloads from the one page (like Vault), rather than having to go into each asset and download individually.

The Vault served its purpose for a good few years, but it was limited in terms of back-end customisation. FileSilo now gives us the ability to make useful changes and improvements over time.

It's going to take us a little while to migrate old issues over - 18GB-odd per issue is a lot of admin! - so please bear with us. Vault will stay live alongside until we get all the issues ported over and set up.

I'm seeing painfully slow download speed, then "Failed - Network error" after several minutes -- about 25% complete. Yikes, what the heck is going on with FileSilo?

A poor transition, for sure.

Seems to be throttled down to only 1 download at a time.
It won't queue up any more.

This is a browser issue - have you tried a different browser?

I'm having download problems too.
When downloading a file the website becomes unresponsive, disabling any browsing/selecting new files to download. I often get a network error, pressing resume restarts the download. Tried both Chrome and Edge.
With Free Download Manager I can download multiple files simultaneously but all downloads get stuck at 99%.

Long story short, haven't managed to download anything :(

I have a Zinio subscription to CM until the 2017 september issue.
It's my 2nd year, and I bought many single issues before.
I heard nothing about this all, not an email from CM, not on Youtube where I am subscribed to CM, nothing from Zinio.
Today I wanted to download some videos I had not downloaded before, the Vault website is not working, just plain white, no message.
Then I visited MusicRadar/ Computer Music website, could not find info there.

Tonight I accidently stumbled on this thread, first time I visited this subforum on KVR.

I can't imagine a company treating a customer like this. I'm disappointed in CM.
