Same here. Easiest system upgrade. Move everything to the dongle, then move everything back. Though iLok is adding cloud now so maybe everyone can benefit without a dongle (developer-willing).
That said, the plain-old serial number stuff didn't care and stayed registered. It was the multitude of individual deauth/reauth challenge/response that was annoying.
I hate mandatory download managers. Especially if they make you download the entire product line when you only want/own one or a few. It's my hard drive space they're eating up! But it's great if you actually do have it all and they update frequently. A developer has to provide all options: download manager + individual installers.
