Pretty impressive sound quality, and I could see hours flying by with this tool once I got the hang of all it can do. What an immensely powerful set of features, it's actually a bit dizzying.
I'm wavering between impressed and intimidated.
Weird timing that i just signed up for their mailing list a couple days ago and then this gets released.pekbro wrote:The discount offer comes to your email. Sign up for the mailing list
if you haven't. If you own any of their products they will send it to you.
I forgot to sign up, but got the offer after doing so.

Blue Cat Audio has released Blue Cat's Late Replies, a new creative delay and multi effects plug-in also capable of hosting third party plug-ins anywhere in its signal path (yes, even in the feedback loops!).
Designed as an hybrid multi-tap and feedback delay plug-in, combined with a multi effect and a VST, VST3 and Audio Units host, this plug-in can be used to create a wide variety of audio effects: classic echoes, rhythmic or melodic patterns, vintage tape or digital delays, modulation effects, reverbs, shimmer effects and more... It includes more than 400 presets to get started.
Blue Cat's Late Replies can be extended indefinitely, applying built-in or third party effects to individual taps, or inside the two nested feedback loops. With its integrated ducker with side chain support, stereo spread control and integrated mixer, it offers total control over the delayed signals.
The plug-in is available for purchase today with 25% off until September 17th. Existing customers are granted an extra 15% discount during the introduction period (offer sent by email). Demo versions of the plug-in can be found on bluecataudio.com, as well as video examples.

This time we are proud to produce late replies!jsp1979 wrote:I thought this thread was going to be about a bad experience with support.
And you can also add effects in the feedback loops, which is even more fun...Armagibbon wrote:Damn that looks tight. Unique fx per tap? I'm sold.
You can indeed spend a lot of time tweaking if you need to, but it can actually be pretty fast to setup in most cases: as you can see in the video below, there are presets at multiple levels, so you can reuse your favorite settings independently for each tap, each loop, the pattern or loops sequences etc. You can already achieve a lot of things with just the factory presets, with just a few clicks.Armagibbon wrote:Not gonna throw out any of my favs for it cus it looks f*ckin painful to get set up and I can smell my cpus frying just thinkin about it but that's fun in a box right there.
Too bad we did not see it earlier!No_Use wrote:I think they stole my idea.
It works pretty well on guitars, indeed. Have you watched our guitar videos? There are a couple of them in the youtube playlist, using Blue Cat's Destructor and Late Replies.Backsnack wrote:Just downloaded the demo and went through some presets on a guitar track.
Maybe another reason why we called it "Late Replies"Backsnack wrote:I could see hours flying by with this tool once I got the hang of all it can do.
Me toojsp1979 wrote:I thought this thread was going to be about a bad experience with support.
Nielzie wrote:Looks really interesting as a go-to delay unit. The usual problem is that I (and many like me) already have a lot of delays already, but this looks/sounds really good. Those YT video's are enjoyable to watch. Makes me thinking about selling off a few delays and get this oneNice intro price as well
