ok i dont want to spoil your topic, those sounds are really great and i dunno yet why padshop exceeds avenger but i will send steinberg another ticket and ask why this crappy programmed vst always copies user samples on win .

It's by design, whatever sample you drag into PSP will be copied to your user folder in order to prevent a "missing samples" warning in case you move the original sample to some other location. You can easily re-assign the sample path at the upper right of the interface, the little downward arrow in the sample window. So no need to wait for support, you just got some

And to add to this, if you select the samples directly in the sample window in Padshop Pro, the samples will not get copied into the user directory.

hey Simon BIG Thanks for the info i will test it out asap, i get either droneland or your falcon xps, i have to check if falcon granular part is for me better and kicks padshops' ass or not , if so im gonna concentrate on this more and get your falcon xps.

i followed your tips, but each time i drag and drop a wave file into padshop it automatically creates a copy of the file in C:\user folder again...



in padshop i cannot select a user folder :/



this is a stupid vst... think imma sell it if this always like that cause i try for a setting different waves out and would have to delete those afterwards ALWAYS in the folder if not used.....

You misunderstood my tip, don't drag and drop if you don't want a copy to be created but load the samples from inside the sample window (upper right, little downward arrow), locate the sample, load it, no copy gets created.

thanks simon, hmmm how clumsy steinberg products are.... either way, guess imma sell this plugin off, i dont like the workflow without drag & drop, but the sound xps sound great from you!
