I was hoping for an update with a better GUI and more stability but, oh well.
Such is life.

But does that mean it is only for students (who can provide a student card for proof), or can anybody buy it at that price?Nielzie wrote:Yes, Tassman 4 can still be purchased at the student price of $99 but it's sold as-is. You can verify that Tassman 4 works on your system by downloading the final installers via the links provided on this page. There is no guarantee that any update will be provided. You can purchase Tassman 4 via this link.

Another thing that seems to have changed at AAS, there is no longer any field at checkout where a user can input voucher?

I was hoping for that too.
But it doesn't really surprise me.
I had a feeling this was going to happen when I didn't see Tassman in the list for this year's C2A Auction

He said you've lost that loving feeling. Be my baby, da doo ron ron, then he kissed me. Wait 'til my Bobby gets home from walking in the rain, uptown, in Spanish Harlem. He's a rebel. To know him is to love him, with his pretty little angel eyes. That's the boy I'm going to marry.Numanoid wrote:If you say so, I will not argue with thatAliens wrote:The Phil Spector of KVR

Of the old-skool modulars, Arturia Modular V is still around at €149, and Reaktor 6 at €199, being updated.
Had the student price for Tassman 4 been at €25 I might buy into it, €99 is a ludicrous asking price for a discontinued synth, especially seeing that students need to spend their cash on beer first and foremost

That's also my impression.
In the synths department they are kind of outdated.
Their modeling stuff is much more niche, probably not enough to survive on as a company.
