Reason 10: crazy cpu eater

Seeing the same thing here on a 2017 Macbook Pro unfortunately. CPU usage for comparable songs is about 2-3x vs Ableton or Logic and timing is laggy and off recording live midi. I've tried disabling hyper threading to no avail. It's a shame since Reason used to be my most efficient DAW by far. From what I gather on the reasontalk forums this is a Mac-specific issue.
