While that project is cool, for less money you can buy a used mini midi keyboard with onboard controllers (Novation Noctrun 25, or M-Audio Axion etc) and an expression pedal.

Still, looks like a fun project.

Hi,

What does the "sweep" button do?
Do you use this in auto mode - to automatically sweep frequencies? (like moving "pedal pos"?)

Also, what is the "up/down" for? Does that have something to do with "sweep"?

The manual doesn't mention either of these

Down works with bass guitar. Up is more for guitar. Changing the sweep direction could really impact the feeling when playing in auto mode.
