What the f*ck is your deal? What an asinine comment.
I'm certain it's just sarcasm.

Yes, absolutely totally assinine. I've been referred to as assinine many times. I didn't know at first what it meant, but I've deduced it to be a hybrid of astute and insightful. Thank you for the kind compliment. And yes I do have a great many f*cking deals, to many to list here though.

Now I can continue my thoughts on this. I broke my own cardinal rule and actually looked into this program and it's worse than I thought. First problem is they want to to download an "installer" to "install" I don't know what on my computer. Under the requirements they casually slip in that an OS is needed, user provided no less. There's also the not so small issue of "input devices"; mouse and keyboard, not a chance. My custom built power-house computer is busy computing. It doesn't have time for an OS, or to be distracted by so called input devices. It doesn't need input from me. What could I tell it that it doesn't already know. DaVinci also wants me to put a video monitor on my computer. What for? So anyone can just walk up and see all the important computing that's being done. No way!
Short of those glaring deficiencies it does look like it has potential. I'm sure the devs mean well, so I'll contact them right away and help them get this mess of a program straightened out. /S

I think now that Resolve 15 includes Fusion built in. So essentially we get a world-class colour grader, compositor, FX engine and editor all rolled in to one.

It hosts VST plugins (so you can use VST's you already own) and the plugin format for Video and Video FX is OpenFX still, I believe, so it is well supported.

The only downside in previous versions was that it was a monster for resources, even with a decent setup and good GPU it was sluggish; they say they have optimized it further and it is far more responsive.

Anyone who wants to do video editing and compositing and does not have a solution, then this is the best by far for this sort of work.

Well everyone has to start somewhere, and I'm sure when they look back on their works, they can at least say that they did it.

Maybe now they'll work on a real movie.

Here's a video that should be interest to those that are into video editing with titles, and of course this is with the latest Resolve 15 beta..

And for something a bit more advanced with the Fusion integration... e. g .green screening and tracking..

Does anyone know what sort of graphics card I'd need to run this? I can't see any minimum system requirements on their website.
