Nexus2 or alternatives for my purpose?

I have to agree with Trancit: I feel like Nexus could add some quality to my stuff with just a little bit of effort, related to designing own sounds. Of course, it is a ROMpler but this does not have to be a bad thing.
I also use synths, I also design my own sounds with them but for production-ready quality, Nexus still seems to be a legit option (even with such a high price).

I strongly advice you to check Xpand 2 rompler first Nexus 2 default bank has some nice sounds but they do sound a little bit dated in the style and design (also sound is not stick out that much anymore). Also you can "demo" before buying for some comparison

Nexus 2 has edge over Xpand 2 in sound usability out of the box, BUT you can layer on Xpand different sounds and you can get for free or just for 1 (ONE) Dollar In combination with Hybrid 3 wich comes with dance focused presets (if you manage to get for 1 dollar) you get a real powerhouse for cheap also add to that free Xfer Records OTT multiband limiter/compressor that gives you that "smily" edm sound

No doubt Nexus 2 is great especialy if you own all those libraries (especialy latest one), but it costs more then 2 dollars

Also someone suggested Synthmaster all bundle, that one is great aswel, it has alot of presets focused to dance music

Ah man equipment is only part of what makes the hit track, producer is the one who is in charge and with Air stuff you can make a hit track, trust me

Quite a good contender would be Lethal from lethalaudio.com. Especially the Trance Pianos in the core library seem to be based on that proven 90s house piano romplers as some of the presets in Nexus.

If you're looking for commercial ready-to-use sounds, there's still hardly anything better than Nexus. Only Lethal I consider to be an excellent sample based bread-and-butter preset machine in the realm of Nexus.

Of course I read, but I didn't feel that the OP was interested in only spending 1 USD although he did mention the steep price for Nexus. I had the feeling it was more about good dance pianos for commercial results.

With your logic, you can go on like this:

Freeware vs 1 USD...

And that usually comes from people who don't even own and know the software in question! But here is the deal: I don't want to f****** do A, B and C - I want exactly that sound, now!
