I've been testing the demo as VST host as insert effect in Maschine a bit.

Chaining plugins seems to work fine.

Haven't tested that yet. Not sure which of my plugins are VST3 and 32 bit. Most VST3 plugins I have are 64 bit, but SigMod doesn't seem to bridge plugins from 32 to 64 bit and vv.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to do. Maschine doesn't show knobs for the plugin's parameters. Therefore you can only change the parameters with the mouse after opening the GUI. I have no idea how to automate those parameters though. And when the plugin doesn't have a GUI (AirWindows for example), then you seem to have no access to the parameters at all.

No, you can't, but of course if needed you could use SigMod to delay other channels. Btw I don't know if it's a coincidence or if Sigmod automatically compensated for the delay, but the plugins I tested didn't introduce latency.

The Mono module comes in handy too if you want to hear only the left or the right side on both sides of your channel (a sample from an old record that has a couple of instruments on the left side and other instruments on the right side for example).

Sorry to necro... Loving the potential of Sigmod, but on macOS Sequoia and M1 it's giving me a constant headache trying to use that potential.

Whenever you start to build chains using 3rd party plugins it becomes very unstable and loading or saving presets often causes the Sigmod plugin to crash forcing Logic Pro to recover the plugin, but often will not sdo so properly and multiple restarting Logic or deleting the Sigmod prefs file (so all the scanned plugins are forgotten) is needed.

At first I thought that maybe 1 of the 3rd party plugins were the culprit, but it's totally random at which stage and which plugin Sigmod decides to freak out.

Very unreliable for me anything bu the simple factory stuff like switch polarity, protecting your master bus etc. Such a shame as it has sooo much potential as a channel strip for complex routing with freq splits, paralell chains etc etc.

I wonder if NuGen will ever invest in updating it besides the simple OS compatibility updates.
