New Arturia DrumBrute Impact

Not a huge fan of Arturia, but this looks interesting.

As I understand the engine is re-designed?

I don't think it is, since the description says "The same powerful 10-voice analog drum machine, reimagined in an iconic off-white finish." Sounds like it's the same machine with a fancy new paintjob (which I sorta like, tbh!). I owned an Impact for a while and I thought it sounded pretty good within a pretty narrow range of sounds and I really liked the workflow. I never owned the OG Drumbrute, but liked the sound of that as well and I always wished Arturia would combine the best of both worlds into an even better version.

There was a Kenny Larkin quote in the bottom that mentioned a redesigned engine. But when I think of it now I probably had a brain fart. In the context of the whole marketing blurb it makes more sense that it was just copied from the original Impact blurb.

I just really wanted to get my hopes up. But oh well, maybe one day.
