Originally started as frustroms and since I dropped it for the southport-meet I figured I'd remix it again for the contest. A mixmash of sounds coming from the JX16 (2x) Rez ran through the JCM9000 and kiesel delay for the continual acid line the Fizmo with a crazy patch. Drums by lm7 and drumatic.

A lot of work on the eq's and mix to get the right balance. Could still improve I think, but I gotta put this aside and concentrate on other things.

I have no clue what kinda dance you'd call it, but dance it is.

I was struggling to write lyrics for this so Rob (pHz) kindly provided some for me (which I edited to get to fit in with the slightly bizarre vocal line!). et voila...

Song features normal array of effects plugins plus loads of sfz's hosting drums, e-piano and orchestra and a couple of Cameleon5000. The djembe, guitar, tamborine and of course vocals were all recorded.

This was made in VST with two samples, both from Beethoven's Egmont Overture (Opus 84), with a lot of transposing and a slew of subtle reverb fx.

Here is my first entry. It is an ambient/abstract little noodler called "Sunset Moonlight." Oh yeah, I named my band Sonic Six.

I used Crystal, Magix Studio Deluxe 2003 (thanks Fake!), Kjaerhaus Classic Master Limiter...hmm...all stuff I got free!

A cheap and cheerful production starring: Mr.Ray, ZR3, Tassman DTM edition, sfz (soundfonts including Fitch's Med Cello), ConcreteFX Vocal, Kjaerhus Classic EQ and compressor, Fish Fillets, Slim Slow Slider C3, Blue reverb, my voice and guitar through my new tube pre amp.
