Adele's Pity Party

As pertains to the original sentiment, Adele's Pity Party, I find Puddles Pity Party's irony very entertaining. And possibly useful... It's a kind of artistic statement.
I find the original record Hello by Adele literally nauseating. There is, in my estimation nothing good about it, in and of itself. I can't know what "Puddles" really thinks at the end of the day, but I suspect the pity part of the whole exercise is ironic in nature. There it is in combination with another pitiful sentiment, the ELO number. Which I also find a bit disgusting.
In terms of 'she's so talented', yeah, some people sing rather easily. I came up in this world valuing virtuosity, in singers as much as in anything, and her instrument is to my assessment not all that.
I went through a teenage sort of period where pitiful songs moved me, because I was right pitiful. I CAN'T LIVE! IF LIVING IS WITHOUT YOU!
As a grown person I find it gross except with a sort of distance which to me is brought to bear by the 'sad clown' acting.

What is Adele's Pity Party? Is it a song or something else? Thanks in advance.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Not an issue with Adelle herself but when she first gained prominence I got the distinct feeling the industry types were basically just pushing her as this nice, safe, clean version of Amy Winehouse. And then of course Amy died leaving Adelle to become the talented yet bland and inoffensive singer we have now.
Also, her album titles are crap and unimaginative which makes her even less appealing.

It's a portmanteau of the two artists mentioned at the top post. Also an excellent description of her musical persona.Aloysius wrote: Mon Jan 07, 2019 1:46 pm What is Adele's Pity Party? Is it a song or something else? Thanks in advance.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.
