Yeah, but those people are obviously idiots. If we are idiots, we are less obviously so, which fact lends more weight to our words, which in turn makes them hurt more when they're dropped on someone's head.

Well, you can't see the reason behind it, one supposes. You come out of nowhere onto a social media sort of experience with as obvious a click-bait faux controversial lede (and we see further context, the stupid spicattos video), engaging no one here on anything first... it's just a kind of personal lack of sensitivity, obtuseness in a big way. For my part, and I very rarely express myself this directly when I feel this way, the question itself made me want to type a simple feck off.

It's not a music theory question, it's just some bullshit and no one here cares about your quest for youtube notoriety and dollars or is ever going to. It's a somewhat jaded place and you chose the least likely venue for your apparent sort of predilections, this sub-forum.

I don't know it's so much being brutal just for the sake of being brutal (although I think people could have been more reasonable in their responses...), but to be honest with you, I think the two main criticisms of your post are valid.

You would get a much better response by just starting a discussion in the way that other threads do. Posting on YouTube is fine, as people have an expectation of finding videos like this there, but they come to KVR and similar sites to participate in questions/discussions/opinions.

While your thread title works well, the approach to discussion does have a clickbait feel to it, and as some of the responses indicate, there are a lot of people who are tired of dealing with the volume of crap that we all have to wade through when just trying to do simple things on the internet.

Sorry that the responses went this way, but I think if you take onboard what people are saying, it will give you a good idea of what works and what doesn't work here.

^^ tbh Jan and deep purple, as fair as your posts are, you're probably wasting your time with the OP.
Given his second post on this thread, where he switches everthing back to the comments here rather than addressing his own issues, he seems very much like a fly-by wannabe Youtuber in search of hits/patrons and little regard for anything/one here.

Perhaps a more pertinent question for the OP might be: Does Youtube Even Matter??

however, some youtubers, need to get skills before trying to teach others.
