I didn't tested it myself, just reading this on another forum. Let's hope this will be available in the editor software coming soon...
Now I am REALLY tempted. Especially the BCF!!!Quiffy wrote:i'm using the bcf 2000 right now in the mackie control mode together with the mackie viewer. I can say only one thing; INCREDIBLE!!!![]()
every parameter in cubase is available and the faders automates to their corresponding positions. For instance , if i choose panning, every fader motorizes to the corresponding panning position, Fantastic
Even in vsti's every automation parameter is now available in this mackie control mode. on the mackie viewer you will see which parameters you are modifying. for instance if you have a cutoff on your vsti of 80 then the fader will move to the 80 position. so every automation parameter available will act this way.
also within version 1.06 it's now possible to use 3 modes for every push button. (standard, shift, and extra shift).
i've tried to import 1.5 syx in the bcf and this was working fine. so i'm going to update my bcr2000 this afternoon.
I can hardly wait for the software editor for these 2 hardware beasts. Good times are coming this way
now let's hope they will add a mode for the BCR to use also vst automation (in the same way they do as on the bcf) so that every parameter you will program on the bcr will have feedback. This is impossible to do with the generic remote in cubase. So this will definitly be a big step forwards.
